Kanji Widgets (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

What We Collect

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous usage data, including:

App interactions (e.g., themes selected, widgets configured)
Session frequency and duration
Device type and iOS version
Country/region (approximate)
Demographic estimates (age range, gender) inferred by Google Signals at the device level — we do not ask for or store this information directly

We also use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect purchase history and subscription status.

What We Do NOT Collect

Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
Precise location data
Photos or camera access
Any data linked to your identity

How We Use This Data

Usage data is used solely to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. Data is never sold or shared with third parties beyond the services listed below.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in Firebase (default: 2 months for event data, 14 months for user data). You can request deletion by contacting us.

Children’s Privacy

Kanji Widgets does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not ask for any personal information from any user.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
